Youth Cricket League is a league which is formed by the Board of Sports in India and Nimble Sports and Events Private Limited jointly. It is a league for all the passionate cricket players around the country. The candidates from remotest areas can register themselves and get a chance to play world class cricket.

The person who wants to apply should be an Indian resident. The male candidates with age above 12 years can get himself for YCL. There are 5 age groups under which you can register:
  • Under 14 years
  • Under 16 years
  • Under 19 years
  • Under 23 years
  • Above 23 years

The lower age limit is 12 years and there is no upper age limit.

Yes, the players have to get their kits with them for the trials. The batsmen and the wicketkeepers are required to carry the essential things for playing. The bowlers are exempted from carrying the kits. In some exceptional cases, the kits can be provided to the players.

After registering at the website, all the candidates will be contacted through SMS.

The schedules related to the trials for phase 1 are mentioned on the website address. The dates for the trials will also be sent via SMS to each enrolled candidate. The link to the schedule diary will be shared with each candidate.

The registration fee for the trial is only Rs. 750 and the fee for the State Level League is Rs. 6000.

No, it is not mandatory to have a passport for all the players. But after selections, the player may be selected to play on foreign land. So, it is good if you have it or you may procure it when necessary.

The selection committee visits all the camps in each state. The committee shortlists deserving candidates from all over the country on the basis of merit in bowling, batting, and wicket keeping.

Payments for any/all phases of the game can only be done through the official website

The registrations are open from 25th March to 10th July.

YCL Phase 1 Trials and Phase 2 State Level League will happen in 23 states- Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, MP, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttarakhand, UP and West Bengal.

The Auction will be held of the players and players who will be sold in the Auction will qualify for the National Level League.

The league kickstarts in the month of May/June.
